The Pema Nativity is an Alpine nativity scene in a modern style. With its naive yet very charming style, it quickly gained a large following. The nativity figures offered in our online shop are carved from fine ash wood and painted in natural, oil-based, or watercolor finishes. The ultra-thin, transparent watercolor coating gives the figures their special vibrancy without obscuring the beautiful wood grain. A special wax seal provides lasting protection.
