The ANRI Florentine 12.5 cm nativity scene, which we offer in our online shop , was created in the early 1970s .

Following the tremendous success Ulrich Bernardi achieved in the early 1960s with his eponymous "Original Ulrich Bernardi Nativity Scene," he set out to create a completely new nativity scene. This marked the birth of the Original Florentine Nativity Figures in the early 1970s.
The Alpine motifs are clearly recognizable here as well, which he depicted in a light Baroque style and blended with a touch of European folklore. As in all his works, his models are particularly captivating due to their simplicity and sweet facial expressions, but also due to the diversity of the people of that era he brought to life, whom he used as models for his depiction of the Florentine Nativity. The Florentine Nativity quickly gained a large following of enthusiasts, a following that continues to grow to this day.

Unfortunately, ANRI ceased production more than four years ago. However, we managed to acquire a large remaining stock of ANRI products before the company's final closure, so we can still offer you a few original items.
