ANRI Kuolt Nativity Scene 15cm (5)

The ANRI Kuolt Nativity Scene 15cm offered in our online shop is one of the best-known and most popular nativity scene series and originated in the 1920s and 1930s.

The nativity figures were designed by Professor Karl Kuolt, born in Spaichingen in 1879. Professor Kuolt, who lived in Munich and attended art school and the art academy there, created one of the most beautiful nativity scenes over the years, its charm stemming primarily from its austere, almost impoverished style. For this reason, the Kuolt nativity figures were also popularly known as the "poor manger." Today's Karl Kuolt nativity scene already comprises over one hundred collector's figures.

Unfortunately, ANRI ceased production more than four years ago. However, we managed to acquire a large remaining stock of ANRI products before the company's final closure, so we can still offer you a few original items.
